well the peas are actually forming! it's awesome, they grow taking the petals with them, leaving the sepals behind. they are all thin and immature - i HOPE they get a little plumper and longer. i havent fertilized them at all, so i was wondering if they needed some more nutrients - they supply their own N and am sure were gettin plenty from their ( Read more... )

well i have been busy in the community garden lately, attending to the fava beans, sugar snap peas, and the cilantro seedlings (that are doing ok despite the freezing temperatures - although the cilantro growing in the front yard pot is browning because of the cold). khanh is going to help me trellis the peas when they grow taller. i learned that ( Read more... )
